Technical Curriculum

Advanced Nitrox + Decompression Procedures

Build the planning discipline and in-water precision required for staged decompression diving. This sequence establishes technical habits that hold under depth, time pressure, and team workload.

Course focus

Training emphasizes gas planning, oxygen and nitrogen limitations, runtime discipline, and controlled ascent behavior. Drills include decompression gas handling, switch procedures, contingency response, and buoyancy precision throughout the profile.

Prerequisites

  • Minimum age 18 (or agency-approved youth exception)
  • Nitrox and advanced open-water level experience
  • At least 25 logged dives with solid buoyancy/trim control

Outcome

Graduates leave with a dependable foundation for deeper technical progression, including extended range and cave pathways. This is where planning quality and execution standards become non-negotiable.
